Of course, it has nothing to do with money. Even those who have the luxury to buy all the needed medications and prevention have a difficult time dealing with sensitive skin. What these people did was doing their own detective work. Not only did they approach medical specialists in the field, they also did their own detective work. Out of all the treatments they did, they discovered that the most natural ingredients do the trick. Mixing one, two or more of these natural ingredients helped in addressing what really caused their sensitive skin.

Keep in mind that the following treatments are not made for everyone. Every body reacts differently to each of these recipes. In order to make sure that you are not allergic to any of the following, make a spot test first on your hand. Leave the mixture there for around 24 hours before you apply it all over your body. You can also ask your doctor to which ingredients your skin is allergic against.

Body Oil

You’ve got to be grateful for this recipe. Not only do you get to use this all over your skin, it can also be used to address cuticle problems, too. You don’t have to worry about paraben, fragrance or any other chemical jargon added to this particular recipe, since this is purely made out of essential oils. All you need to do is just look for olive oil and grapeseed oil or any other essential oil that are sold at the beauty or kitchen section. Other essential oils will do the trick, too. These include Lavender oil and vitamin E oil. There are people that get two of these essential oils, mix them up and apply it to their skin when needed. You can do the same, too, but make sure you consult your doctor first or make a test spot first before committing to this special recipe.

If you can get your hands on Moroccan or Argan oil, the better, but they can be very pricey. They are proven to help sensitive skin. If you want to buy pure Argan oil, make sure that the ingredient listed in their label is argania spinosa kernel oil and nothing else. Some products use the name Argan oil just to have their product line sold right away, when in fact not a single drop of argan oil is added into the mix.

Sugar Scrub

Have you ever heard of celebrities that make use of raw ingredients found in the kitchen that kept their skin smooth and glowing? A lot of people have heard of it, but most of them are hesitant to use it. This is the result of being bombarded with a lot of promising product advertisement that lead to believe their products are the only ones that can save their skin.

Some people have been sharing their secret to smooth skin. The amazing part of what they did was that they only used sugar to rub it on their skin. It can be a little rough on the skin at first, but you will be surprised with its results the more you use it. This is how sugar scrubs were born.

You’ve seen a lot of sugar scrubs at beauty stores, right? But be wary. These products come with synthetic ingredients that will only harm your skin more. Why not just make your own sugar scrub recipe, then?

You will need a cup of raw or brown sugar; 1/8 cup of oil such as lavender oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba or olive oil; and a few drops of essential oil. Some people use vanilla extract for essential oil. Start mixing in the oil in increments and not everything at once to achieve the right kind of consistency that you want. This really depends on which oil you are comfortable to use with. The last ingredient you add into the mix is the essential oil. Keep the mixture in a tightly sealed container to avoid it getting hardened from exposure.

Primer

This is particularly addressed for eye makeup. The problem with those who have sensitive skin is that they have the most difficult time with the eye makeup. If you don’t know which makeup product works best for you, you might end up scratching your eye with the wrong makeup the entire day.

The solution to this is petroleum jelly. There are those who are against the use of petroleum jelly for some reason, but experts in the medical field highly recommend the use of petroleum jelly on the eyelids and eyelashes. You will never have makeup problems anymore. If you remove the makeup from your eye, it will glide off easily.
