Homemade Recipe for Hair Gel

This is a very effective gel that it’s basic yet effective. You’ll need:

  • 1 packet gelatin
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • Conditioner:
  • 1-2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 4 tablespoons aloe vera

Here are the steps to take. Mix the water and the gelatin after putting them in a saucepan. The pan should be heated with medium heat. Stop heating the pan when the gelatin has dissolved into the water. Then remove the pan from the heat. The next step is to add the lemon juice. Then let the mixture set until it has gelled.

If you want to add conditioner to the gel, you can add the aloe vera and coconut oil after the gelatin has already set. Then put all the ingredients into a blender and mix it up at a low speed until the mixture has become dreamy. Another option is whisk the ingredients by using a standard whisk. However, if you use this option you must first melt down the coconut oil. This is definitely an excellent condition that’s easy to make.
