Why is black tea more practical than other types for your oily hair? It contains an ingredient called tannic acid that can help to prevent excess oil from building up on a person’s scalp. It achieves this by making the pores tighter. First add 1-2 tablespoons of black tea leaves to one cup of water. Then boil it for 10 minutes. The next step is to strain the tea leaves, then let the solution cool until it’s at room temperature. Afterwards, pour the lukewarm blend onto your hair and scalp. Let it sit for 5 minutes, and then rinse it all off. Finally, use a mild shampoo to wash your hair. In order to rid your hair of excess oil repeat these steps 2 or 3 times per week.

Then rinse it out. This mixture is basically a revamped shampoo that can help to control oily hair/scalp. Besides that, you can store the homemade shampoo in the refrigerator for a maximum of 1 week.
