Cinnamon/Honey Mask

Honey and cinnamon make a great combo to treat acne. Cinnamon has anti-microbe properties and honey is a natural anti-biotic. Mix 2 tablespoons of honey with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon until they are mixed well and make a paste. Then add the mask to the area you want to treat and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse it totally and pat-dry.

 Egg Whites

This is a great way to make acne fade and treat the scars. The egg whites are full of proteins/vitamins and fight the acne. They also help to build skin cells. Separate the egg’s whites and yolks. Usually2 or 3 eggs is enough. Whisk the whites until they are bubbly, then let them sit a couple of minutes. Use your fingertips to apply the mixture to your face. Add about 3-4 layers, but let each layer dry before adding another one. Let it then sit/dry for around 20 minutes. Use warm water to rinse, and then add a moisturizer that’s right for your skin type.

 Papaya

This is a popular ingredient for beauty products today, but you can also use raw papaya to treat acne. It helps to remove dead skin cells and extra lipids from the skin’s surface, which makes it soft/smooth. First rinse your face and pat-dry. Mash up papaya flesh until it can be applied to your skin easily. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then use warm water to rinse. If your skin often gets dry after cleansing it, you should use a moisturizer afterwards. Make sure that it’s one that’s best suited for your skin type, so it produces the best results.

 Apple Sider Vinegar

This is an excellent remedy for treating acne. The reason is that it can kill the bacteria that might be causing the acne to form. Another big benefit is that it becomes alkaline, and makes your skin’s pH level balanced, and that makes it tougher for bacteria to live on your skin.

First wash your face and then pat-dry it. Use a 1:3 vinegar to water ratio to make a mixture. Use a cotton ball to dip it into the vinegar, then apply it to the acne. Let it sit for 10 or more minutes. Make sure to re-apply the vinegar many times per day, and then wash your face well after each application. Finally, use a moisturizer if your skin starts to get dry.

Milk or Yogurt with Honey

When applied to the skin it seems that milk can reduce acne outbreaks and also benefit skin tone. The reason is based on the extra hormones it contains. It soothes skin that that’s irritated and helps to make the redness less bright. The acids kill bacteria while the fat adds moisture, which causes the skin to be nourished.  That’s definitely a good situation for you.

Let the milk/honey or yogurt drop to room temperature. Blend 1 tablespoon of milk or yogurt with 1 tablespoon of honey. You could use a cotton pad to put the mixture on your face. However, you could also pat. Make sure each layer dries before you add another one. After the mask gets thick let it set for 10-15 minutes. Then wash the mask off and moisturize.
